Silicone Testing

We are peculiar about our silicone. We have to be 100% sure our silicone is safe and does not leave residue. This is why we have SGS testing on our silicone. Below is a specific test report that we did to be in compliance with governmental regulations. This test is to be in compliance with: eCFR :: 21 CFR 177.2600 — Rubber articles intended for repeated use. The test proves that our bands will not break down or disintegrate over time. The bands were able to withstand high amounts of water and chemical stimulation and only leave a trace amount of residue behind, well within guidelines.

Test Conclusion:

As you can see below, our silicone passed the test required for FDA 21 CFR 177.2600 – Total extractive residues. The test parameters comply with the requirement stated in FDA Regulations. Consequently, our products can safely be used anywhere in the world!
